Than version 0.21 hit and all saves where broken. I had bases on the Mun and Duna and I had a whole logistics program set up for crew rotation, refueling, discovery and exploration and it was freaking awesome. Last week my space program consisted of space stations around Kerbin, the Mun, Minmus and Duna. LAND on the Mun!! (your first succesful landing will be one to remember!)

Get something back from orbit and have it survive reentry and landingĦ. My voyages over the past months have brought me to the Mun and Minmus (both moons of Kerbin) and Duna, not very far because up until now my addiction was primeraly aimed at constructing big space stations (rendevous and docking is really hard, but also really cool).Īt the moment (version 0.21.1) there are no game elements in the game yet, there are some first hints towards a Career mode, but currently you have to set your own goals. Getting to these places is HARD, very very hard, but also very rewarding. Jool is a small system on it's own with a large selection of moons, Laythe is the most interesting as it seems to have an atmosphere, oceans, islands and stuff that looks like plant life. To actually give you something to do there is a whole solar system for you to explore! There is Kerbin, your home planet and the Earth equivelant, then there are the inner planets Eve and Moho (haven't been there yet, the required Δv is HUGE) and outside of Kerbin there are Duna (Mars), Dres, Jool (Jupiter) and Eeloo.

Of course building rockets just for the sake of building them, or having them spectaculary explode on the launchpad gets a bit old quite quickly. It's a sandbox space/physics simulator, you control your own space program and to do so the developers give you your own space launch complex and a huge amount of parts (different rocket engines, fuel tanks and associated systems, stability computers, capsules, docking ports, command pods, aero parts and the list goes on and on), it seems the only limitation is one's own imagination. KSP stands for Kerbal Space Program, an indie game still in Alpha but already being sold on Steam or through After putting in more than 200 hours in the past six months I figured it would be time to check if there are soms fellow KSP addicts on A.nutįor those who have no idea what I'm on about
